Digital Advisory
Clear, practical guidance across your digital landscape
When your digital setup starts to feel messy, unclear, or overwhelming, more activity isn’t always the answer. Often, what’s needed first is clarity.
My Digital Advisory service is designed to help Australian small businesses understand how their website, visibility, systems and marketing channels are working together (or not), and where to focus next. This is calm, practical guidance grounded in real implementation experience — not theory, templates or pressure to “do more”.
This service provides independent, experienced guidance to help you make informed decisions about what to prioritise next, without pressure to implement anything immediately.
How digital advisory works
Digital Reviews & Advisory focuses on understanding the whole picture — how your digital presence supports your business day to day, and where things may be unclear, duplicated, or underperforming.
How your website supports your services and enquiries — structure, messaging, and navigation.
How systems , data, workflowsand tools connect behind the scenes to support operations.
Reviewing how your business appears across search and key platforms and what trust signals are in place.
Providing clear direction on priorities without adding unnecessary complexity.
The goal is clarity, not a long list of tasks.
What a digital review may include
Website & content clarity
If your data or visibility setup is broken or incomplete, decisions are often made on the wrong information.
This review focuses on how your business appears in search and how well your Google platforms are set up and connected.
I review SEO foundations at a strategic level, along with Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Google Business Profile. Where appropriate, I can also provide technical fixes within Google marketing and analytics platforms to ensure data is accurate and usable.
Best suited for:
Businesses who want clarity on their search presence, analytics setup or Google tools before investing further in SEO or marketing.
Visibility & search overview
Even a well-designed website can underperform if messaging and structure don’t align with how your audience thinks or searches.
This review looks at how clearly your website communicates what you do, who it’s for, and what action visitors should take.
I review structure, navigation, content flow and messaging to identify where things feel unclear, overly complex or misaligned with your business today. The goal isn’t to rewrite everything — it’s to understand whether your website is supporting enquiries and decision-making.
Best suited for:
Businesses who feel their website no longer reflects their services, positioning or audience — or who aren’t sure whether a rebuild is actually needed.
Social & content direction
Many businesses invest time into social media without a clear purpose or connection to their website or enquiries.
This review looks at your social media presence from a strategic and practical perspective — not as a posting service.
I review account setup, platform choice and alignment with your website and messaging. Where helpful, I can provide guidance on content pillars, posting approach and how social channels support your broader digital goals.
Best suited for:
Businesses who want direction on social media setup and content approach without outsourcing ongoing posting.
Email marketing & customer journeys
Email is often one of the highest-return channels, but it’s frequently underused or poorly structured.
This area focuses on how email marketing supports your business — particularly for ecommerce and service-based models.
I review newsletter setup, automations and key flows such as abandoned checkout or enquiry follow-ups. The focus is on structure, intent and effectiveness, not just the tools being used.
Best suited for:
Businesses using (or planning to use) email marketing who want to improve performance without overcomplicating things.
Systems, tools & workflows
Clunky systems create extra admin, missed enquiries and unnecessary frustration — even when the website looks fine.
This review looks at how your systems work behind the scenes — including forms, bookings, CRMs and internal workflows.
I assess how information flows between tools, where friction or duplication exists, and whether your current setup supports efficient day-to-day operations.
Best suited for:
Businesses who feel their tools don’t talk to each other or their processes are harder than they should be.
Guidance before decisions
This service is designed for moments where things feel unclear — when your digital setup has grown over time, priorities are competing, or you’re not sure where best to focus next.
It’s particularly helpful if you want to step back and understand what’s working, what’s not, and what actually deserves your attention — before committing time, budget, or energy to changes. Many clients come to this service after feeling unsure about SEO, marketing, systems, or previous advice, and want a clearer, more grounded perspective.
My role is to provide an independent, experience-led review of what’s already in place, explain things in plain language, and help you prioritise with confidence. You’ll receive clear guidance tailored to your business stage, along with a summary of recommendations you can act on at your own pace.
“Dana is an extremely skilled professional in the digital space. I felt she really took time to get to know me and what I wanted for my business and was really positive. This is a new space for me and I have felt like I am in good hands!”

A few things you might be wondering…
If you’re considering working with The Partner Consulting, these are some of the questions I am most often asked.
-
Implementation is optional. This service focuses on clarity and direction first. You can choose to implement changes yourself, with another provider, or continue working together.
-
Not always. Some businesses benefit from starting with delivery, others from clarity first. We’ll talk through what makes the most sense for your situation.
-
Most reviews are completed over a defined period, with scope agreed upfront. Timing depends on complexity, but expectations are set clearly before work begins.
-
Very little. You don’t need a formal brief or a clear plan. If you have a website, access to key tools (like Google Analytics or Search Console), and a sense that things feel unclear or fragmented, that’s enough to begin. Part of the value of this service is helping you work out what matters — not expecting you to arrive with answers.
-
Possibly. I currently work as a Digital Solutions advisor, and in some cases businesses may be eligible to access funded advisory support through the Digital Solutions program. Eligibility depends on business type, location, and current availability.
If funding is an option, we can confirm eligibility and complete the required sign-up and contract process before proceeding. If funding isn’t available or suitable, this service can also be delivered privately.
Let’s start with a conversation
If you’re feeling unsure about where to start with your digital needs, a no obligation chat is often the most helpful first step.
We’ll talk through your business, your current website (if you have one), and what you’re hoping to improve. From there, you’ll get clear, honest guidance on what’s worth addressing next — whether that’s a rebuild, an audit, ongoing support, or something more targeted.
