ONGOING SUPPORT
When it's finished, I'm still here
No retainer, no contract, no minimum. Just someone who knows your site and picks up the phone when something comes up.
The part most people don't ask about until it's too late
Plenty of businesses have been handed a website and then never heard from the person who built it again. A phone number they can't change. A page they can't add. A login nobody explained.
That's the thing this exists to prevent. You'll finish a project able to run your own site — and when something comes up that you'd rather not do yourself, I'm a message away.
THINGS I GET ASKED TO DO
What support covers
Grouped by the kind of job, so you can see where yours fits.
Keeping it current
- Content updates and page changesNew services, updated pricing, seasonal changes.
- Usability improvementsThe bits that turned out to confuse people once real visitors arrived.
- SEO refinementsMetadata, internal links and content, based on what your data is showing.
When something breaks
- Troubleshooting and fixesWhen you'd rather not spend an afternoon on it.
- Small system changesForms, bookings, analytics, connected tools.
- A second pair of eyesBefore you press publish on something you're unsure about.
Staying confident
- Training top-upsA refresher, or bringing a new team member up to speed.
- Questions, any timeIncluded. I'm not about to invoice you for a two-minute reply.
- An honest steerOn whether something is worth doing at all.
$180
/hour
Ad hoc, no lock-in
Ex GST. For anything bigger than a quick tweak I'll estimate the hours first, so you can decide whether it's worth it. Anything outside the original project scope is quoted before it starts.
Most clients use a few hours in the months after launch, then only when the business changes and the site needs to keep up.
The goal is you needing me less
Ongoing support should shrink over time, not grow. Step in when it's useful, step back when things are running smoothly. That's the whole arrangement.
You might want something else
If you don't yet know what needs doing, a digital review is a better starting point. If you need delivery rather than help on hand, the website and SEO services will fit better.

A few things you might be wondering
If you're considering ongoing support, these are the questions I'm asked most.
-
No. It's ad hoc by design. Use it when you need it, stop when you don't, and there's no retainer or minimum.
-
Usually a few weeks after launch, once real questions start popping up. Or months later, when the business shifts and the site needs to keep up.
-
Yes! There's no expiry date on working together again.

Just ask. Training and questions were part of what you paid for, and I'm not about to invoice you for a two-minute reply.
